ExtenD Inc. will exhibit at “Global Startup EXPO 2026 (GSE2026),” to be held in Osaka from Monday, October 5 through Wednesday, October 7, 2026, following a recommendation from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO).
Global Startup EXPO 2026 is an international event held under the theme “Deep Tech to Industry, Together with the World,” bringing together deep-tech startups, companies, universities and research institutions, investors, government organizations, and other participants from Japan and around the world.
The event focuses on six priority fields: AI and advanced robotics, semiconductors and communications, quantum technology, biotechnology and healthcare, space, and fusion energy. It provides opportunities for interaction and collaboration aimed at the social implementation, commercialization, and industrialization of innovative technologies.
At the ExtenD booth, we will introduce our technologies and business activities based on diamond technologies developed through research at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST).
Our main exhibits and featured technologies will include:
- Hot-filament chemical vapor deposition (HFCVD) technology and HFCVD systems
- Diamond thin-film technology for thermal management in next-generation devices, including AI semiconductors
- Boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrode and sensor technologies
- “Liquid AI Sommelier (SenseBot®),” which combines BDD sensors with AI-based analysis
In particular, we will present the emerging potential of diamond technologies in advanced industries, including the semiconductor and communications sectors, as well as ExtenD’s efforts toward social implementation and business development in Japan and overseas.
Through this event, we aim to deepen engagement with companies, research institutions, investors, and startups from around the world, creating opportunities for new collaborations and further global expansion.
