Our company was recommended by the Kyushu Bureau of Economy, Trade and Industry, and our initiatives in the DX field were highly evaluated, leading to this selection.
The “Jumping Small and Medium Enterprises / Small Businesses 300” program selects exemplary small and medium enterprises and small businesses that take on the challenge of business transformation or new business creation in response to changes in the economic and social structure, and are expected to contribute to the growth of the regional and Japanese economies.
As a startup originating from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), we are working on the social implementation of the “Liquid AI Sommelier®,” which combines our proprietary hot-filament CVD diamond manufacturing technology with diamond electrode sensors and AI analysis technology.
The Liquid AI Sommelier® is a technology that converts information obtained from liquids into “fingerprint data” through electrochemical measurement using diamond electrodes, and supports quality evaluation and differentiation through AI analysis. In fields such as wine and other alcoholic beverages, beverages, foods, and chemicals, which have conventionally relied on the experience and sensory evaluation of skilled experts, we aim to contribute to the speeding up of evaluation processes, improvement of reproducibility, and digitalization of quality control.
Upon this selection, the secretariat introduced our initiatives as follows:
“Digitalizing quality control of wine by fusing energy-saving diamond manufacturing technology with AI. Breaking away from labor-intensive processes with one-minute analysis per drop.”
According to our research, 3 companies were selected from Saga Prefecture, making us only the second company based in Tosu City to be selected in history.
Encouraged by this selection, we will continue to connect the potential of diamond as an advanced material to social implementation. Starting with quality control DX in the food and beverage sector, we will contribute to the digitalization of liquid information across a wide range of industrial areas, including environment, medical care, semiconductors, and chemicals.
