ExtenD Co., Ltd. has been selected as a supported business operator for the FY2026 Promotion Strategy Enhancement Support Program “PROMOTE,” implemented by RYO-FU BASE (Saga Industrial Future Creation Base) of the Saga Industrial Promotion Foundation.
RYO-FU BASE is an organization established by the Saga Industrial Promotion Foundation to support the growth of companies and entrepreneurs with a focus on digital transformation (DX) and startups. Inheriting the initiatives of the Industrial DX and Startup Promotion Group of the Saga Prefectural Department of Industrial and Labor Affairs, it strengthens an agile, flexible, and “company/entrepreneur-first” support system. It promotes regional development where companies and entrepreneurs can pursue innovation through hands-on support for businesses aiming for DX, reskilling support in programming, discovery of aspiring startup entrepreneurs, refinement of business plans, and financial support to realize seed-stage business ideas.
The “PROMOTE” program targets startups with innovative technologies and business models. Its objective is to support the enhancement of nationwide information dissemination, promotional expertise, and communication skills, thereby leading to business expansion and the creation of new business partners.
In the evaluation process, ExtenD was selected based on a comprehensive assessment of the appeal of its business activities, future expansion potential, suitability for this program, potential for generating results through promotional support, business phase, and current operational challenges.
Moving forward, ExtenD will receive regular hands-on support in public relations, digital marketing, stakeholder-specific communication, and social media utilization.
As a startup originating from the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), ExtenD Co., Ltd. engages in the development and sales of hot-filament CVD equipment, diamond film deposition, and sensing technology using diamond electrodes to achieve the social implementation of diamond potential. Among these, the Liquid AI Sommelier®, which analyzes liquid-specific electrochemical characteristics obtained from diamond electrodes using AI to quantify liquid states and differences, is expanding into a wide range of fields, including quality control in food and beverage, healthcare and medical fields, environmental monitoring, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Taking this selection as an opportunity, ExtenD will communicate the value and potential of its proprietary diamond technology, hot-filament CVD equipment, and Liquid AI Sommelier® more clearly both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, going beyond raising awareness, ExtenD aims to achieve further business growth from Saga Prefecture to global markets by creating collaborations with new customers and business partners.
